A much improved season for the First X1 who ended in third place – missing automatic promotion by fractions of a decimal point. However they were promoted thanks to S E Reading failing to meet ground standards for Division One. Stratfield boasted three of the top four bowlers in Division 2  - Tom Clay (39 wickets at 10.39), Steve Ayers (29 at 10.10) and winner of the Divisional award, Steve Clarke (47 at 8.79).
Batting honours went to James Wright 331 runs at an average of 33.10 and Steve Clarke (493 at 32.87).
Luke Anthony, Richard Carter and Danny Spence also weighed in with half centuries at important times
Statistically not a good season for the seconds, but one at which skill levels improved.
Craig Strudley gleaned his usual crop of wickets (26 at 17.58) with support from Will du Plessis (18 wickets) and Jamie Legg (13)
Ian Rogers had a good season with the bat (205 runs at 29.29) and kept a tidy wicket
Sad notes were struck with recording the deaths of Cyril Ayers and Noel Fisher (the latter after 50 years association with the Club). Rong and Andy Headford had a new baby boy, Matthew

With aid of the Parish the roofing to the pavilion had been replaced and improvments to the square had been achieved.  David Gibbins agreed to undertake development of the Club’s disability team. Six midweek sessions had been held with the help of David Jones
Fund raising was very successful. Fantasy League, Bonus Ball and the Webshop – all organised by Pete Simmons
Important changes were made elsewhere, particularly in cricket development – which was headed up by Luke Anthony
